Weather Activity Planner ("the app") does not require an account and does not collect, store, or share any personal data on any server controlled by us.
With your permission, the app can use your device's precise or approximate location (via Android's location services) to show weather for your current position. Location access is optional: you can decline the permission and instead search for a city by name. If you grant permission, your coordinates are sent to LocationIQ to resolve them into a place name (see below), used to request a forecast, and are not stored on the device beyond the in-memory cache described below. Your coordinates are never linked to your identity.
The app does not require sign-in and does not access your contacts, camera, microphone, or device storage.
The app uses two third-party APIs over HTTPS, neither of which receives any account identifiers or other personal data:
The app temporarily caches recent forecast results in memory on your device to allow the app to keep working briefly if your connection drops. This cache is never transmitted anywhere and is cleared when the app is closed.
The app does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.
